a ballroom selection maybe on New Yrs or Valentine for one of the "smooth" steps, foxtrot, waltz, etc.
Salsa on the Latin side already shows up. Rhumba,
merengue. Swing/big band (back to the ballroom).

a lot more shag and slow songs... too much country and silly songs are played like the chicken and hokie pokie....Enjoy the line dances...more dancing and a lot less Karaoke. Lost a lot of people last week when too much karaoke was done.....

I think each set should contain a sampling of each type of music so folks will hear the music they each like thorughout the night.

The volume should be at a level so that people can talk without having to repeat themselves and shout. It is not good to go home with a sore throat and headache from the loudness.

I think some medium - slow songs are best..such as Buble, Connick, Jr, etc. A few fast songs are good too! I'm not knocking them! (0:

I believe as long as none of the lyrics are distasteful and are not profane in any way according to scripture,Any of the group may be played after being edited as such.I like clean oldies and some slow music for slow dancing since thats about all the dancing I know.
